Alexa Largoza –Ania: Staying Safe While Paddle Boarding

Alexa Largoza - Ania has a lot of hobbies and interests, and paddle boarding is one of them. She enjoys paddle boarding whenever she can, and it is one of the ways she stays active in the summer. If you enjoy paddle boarding, or are thinking about trying it, it is important to be safe while doing it. Here are some tips to keep you safe.

Follow Posted Rules

When you go paddle boarding, there will likely be signs and notices posted on the waterway. These rules are for your protection and the protection of other people on the water. Make sure you are following these rules.
Wear a Life Jacket
Even if you are an experienced paddle boarder and a great swimmer, you still need to wear a life jacket. You never know when you could become injured while paddle boarding and become unable to swim. A life jacket could save your life, so make sure you wear one.

Have a Spotter

When you go paddle boarding, you need at least one person to drive the boat. It is also a good idea to have someone on the boat who can keep a view on the paddle boarder. The spotter can alert the driver if there is a problem and help the paddle boarder if necessary.

Alexa Largoza - Ania takes safety very seriously while paddle boarding; while she knows it can be a lot of fun, she also knows that it can be dangerous if you do not follow simple safety precautions. Make sure you are doing everything you can to stay safe while paddle boarding.
